Kid’s work at Fareham Community Church
We love our kids at Fareham Community Church!
We want to:
- Establish solid, lasting foundations of faith in them
- See them grow into the people that God intends them to be
- Show them fullness of life as we journey together
- Discover more of God together and His promises for each of us
Our committed team of staff and volunteers serve the children at FCC faithfully. Safeguarding is paramount in our training & preparation, and all of the team have annual DBS checks and regular safeguarding training.
Our Crèche room is a resource for parents to use during our Sunday morning service. There is no fixed program for children under the age of 2 and therefore the space allows parents to still be engaged with what is happening while having space for their little ones to play. The service can be played through speakers into the creche if desired.
This group is run during our Sunday morning service and is for any child aged 2-4 who is not yet in school. We have a session plan with a theme, which is explored in a simple, creative and interactive way appropriate for the children’s age group.
J-Club is our main group for children during the Sunday service. It is for those in primary school (Year R to – Year 6). It is a safe, fun and interactive space where the children have the opportunity to explore what it means to be a Christian today.
At Fareham Community Church we value family, particularly our church family. We set aside time every half term to come together for a service aimed at all ages. These services are fun, high energy and seek to engage people of all ages.
As a church, we also run one-off events for our children throughout the year which are advertised separately.
